I was challenged this week to make fried pickles, so I gladly accepted and looked up a recipe!
The spears turned out great, but the slices, not so much....My thought is that it was because my batter was already getting clumpy by the time I put the slices in, but I will have to experiment and see what happens next time.
The recipe was quite simple: flour and corn meal for the breading, eggs and milk for the egg wash. You can find the full recipe at the food network website.
